(external, cost less) -USB Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 (internal) -(if another card, do your research) –or– B: Buy Virtual Audio Cable –or– C: If you plan on buying (or building) a new computer soon, research to find out which motherboards have soundcards that support “stereo mix”/”What U Hear”. !!!In order to run smooth u MUST HSPL UR PHONE!!! i used HSPL3 forum.xda-developers.com i got the t-mobile htc hd2 it worked perfect Now u must flash ur rom i did this with activesync not the sd card way use this rom htcpedia.com make sure its the 17.0 IT MUST BE 17.0 Ok now for the Android gamesquare.co.uk download it unrar and open the folder copy all the files to ur sd card Dual boot forum.xda-developers.com put the .rar in ur sd card dont unrar it on ur desktop put the downloaded rar in ur sd card and install with ur phone to ur sd card DONT RUN ANDROID YET u must edit the dual boot with a registry editor www.freewarepocketpc.net put it in ur sd card and install with ur phone to sd card when its done open it click on the bottom HKLM ok scroll down to init in init u will see stuff on the bottom scroll down a little and rename Launch52 to Launch62 or the other way around i had Launch52 and had to change it to Launch62 if u have Launch62 rename it to Launch52 save it Now restart ur phone and boot to Android go to setting then to wireless & networks scroll down to mobile networks then to Access Point Names then hit the hard windows button on the bottom and hit New APN put this info in APN: epc.tmobile.com Proxy: [Leave Blank] Port: [Leave Blank] Username: [Leave Blank] Password: [Leave Blank] Server: [Leave Blank] MMSC: 216.155.174.84 MMS Proxy: [Leave Blank] MMS Port: [Leave Blank] MMS Protocol: WAP 2.0 MCC: 310 MNC: 260 then hit the hard windows button and hit save …

thanx i removed all from controll pannel then run from cd still didn’t work so i copied sound max from my old windows into the same folders in the current windows partition then run cd and it worked 🙂 =)) i have 3 windowses on my pc sp2 sp3 and windoes xp gamers edition ( that i use ow)

@gangsta97943 it’s not necessarily a bad thing to downgrade your sound driver. If I were you, I’d officially uninstall your current soundmax drivers and then install the old version that I posted. They may have removed “stereo mix record” in the newer drivers. If it doesn’t work then just reinstall the newer drivers.

For those of you that tried this with windows 7 and it still didn’t work try this. Go to the control panel ->Device manager -> click on Sound, video, and game controllers -> click on your audio driver and another window should open. Now go to the “Driver” tab and click update driver. Click “search automatically”. It should download/install the driver automatically. Reboot after it’s done & u shud get stereo mix. If this worked for u plz thumbs up my comment so others can see it. Hope I helped!!!
It’s not working for me i have windows 7 32 bit. When I try to run the setup an error message pops up saying my computer isn’t compatible. Any other workarounds?
