When the OHCI controller is in a suspended state, it cannot always detect when you add a new USB device to your computer. 1 Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK. 2 Locate and then click the following key in the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\USB 3 On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD. 4 Type DisableSelectiveSuspend, and then press ENTER. 5 On the Edit menu, click Modify. 6 Type 1, and then click OK. 7 Restart the computer. The ID for the current language is stored in the registry value HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelDesktopMultiUILanguageId. When you request a change to the language, the ID for the new language is stored in HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelDesktopMUILanguagePending and takes effect at the next logon. French Language ID = 040c English Language ID = 0409

may be cuz my computers language is french ?? I mean for the DisableSelectiveSuspend thing may be I should write it in french dont you think ??

You must have the right permissions in the registry tree.
The solution is simply to right click on the folder and select Permissions. You may not even have the right to change the permissions, if this is the case then first you have to take ownership — click Advanced and then the Owner tab.

OMG OMG OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH I LOOKED EVERYWHERE TO TRY AND FIX MY PSP BECAUSE IT WASN’T CONNECTING AND THIS WORKED THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! 😀 😀

I have Xp Service Pack 2, i’d tried and carefully read ur instructions but when my computer restarted and put my usb.. it gives me the same error “USB Not Recognize blah blah blah”.. Help

It worked for a lot of people but it might or might not work with different operating systems. Try you don’t have nothing to loss.

Please read the directions carefully. There are different types of operating systems & service pack (in short SP) is a collection of updates.

Still can’t see your iPod?
Several things could keep iPod from appearing in iTunes or Windows Explorer.
You must go to apple web site and click on support. Choose a topic from the left to find answers for your questions about iPod latest downloads, manuals, and other resources for iPod.
