Why You Need A Registry Optimizer / Cleaner / Defragger

w34.us A registry optimizer, cleaner, defragmenter is actually something that can help the boot speed of your computer, and prevent slow downs in your system. While you can get along with out a defragger doing a command line export, and swap of the registry, this is not something you can tell your mom to do, and if it fails you risk corrupting your install. Norton’s Utilities are available for as little as . A very worth while investment, to speed up your computers boot time and keep Windows Running well.

after 3 years, chris blocked me from his channel for making slight comedic reference to this video. Screw that, im happy it had led to meeting Brandon on the internet and the wealth of knowledge he has to offer. Chris’ jealousy over people coming up is going to devour him one day, don’t think he could hack people always commenting on his videos that Brandon is more knowledgeable than him.

It arouses my curiosity; it does. Why kind of falling out did you have with lockergnome? As a geek it’s hard to know you don’t know something. :/

I’ve never used a registry optimizer in my life so can’t comment on whether they work or not but the main issue it all those rogue programs out there that advertise as registry optimisers. If people choose to use these programs they need to be very careful in choosing one – I personally see tonnes of machines that have been infected with registry optimiser “scareware”

wow! I didnt know you left lockergnome community.
Thanks anyways for appearing on lockergnome channel though; without we wouldn’t have discovered gem of a person like you.

Norton only makes things worse in my experience, it can cripple computers more than viruses, etc! That’s my experience!

if you’re talking about Pirillo. I can’t say I blame you much. However, let’s try to keep it coherent to this channel It’s about Brandon and so far the man usually has useful stuff although i can’t exactly say the same about this particular video. I too said to hell with the jew fro pirillo. Arrogance does NOT a good youtube video vendor create. cheers

Counter question… Is the Registry a good solution?
– Almost all people I work with that don’t use Windows anymore (the most of them is Linux users) says that the Registry is crap in windows and you should never need to waste your time optimizing and because of that, it’s a bad solution..
– Apple said that Vista was crap because it still was a “DLL-hell” and had the Registry. (well Apple have kinda their own thing with the “default” command in terminal to set a value, default write com.apple*)

Even if it’s $10, I’m not going to buy a utility that has 3 one star rating reviews with crash and blue screen of death in their titles. When it comes to Norton Utilities, I think it’s a case of the cure being worse than the disease.
