They are very high for this one, I’m using my laptop and running XP in a virtual machine. So it is essentially a core i7 with 8 gigs of memory and a solid state hard drive.

Yes, this will also work for Windows 7
Your registry will not get duplicate entries it will simply overwrite the previous installations. Installing a product and uninstalling it will leave registry entries in your system though. They just sit there and do nothing. Yet another good reason to have a registry cleaner.
CCleaner isn’t bad? Just make sure you backup your registry when you use it. I just prefer Glary.
