I totally agree that Babylon Toolbar is nothing but malware
For Americans I would say
My advice is to contact Ben Edelman, an attorney at law who specialises in prosecuting
click fraud, malware vendors, and spammers, etc
you can find his site on google
I believe he is already aware of the problem but he is a very approachable guy
and has successfully prosecuted many companies like Babylon that use underhanded confusion techniques to get their toolbar installed.

How do I remove the babylon search default when I open a new tab on ie?
I’ve done all these steps, but whenever I open a new tab it goes to babylon instead of google which is the supposed default in my options.
I cant find any babylon folders on my computer, so wtf?

Hello from babylon support team!
It’s very easy to remove the babylon search page and toolbar.
We would be glad to help you with any issue that you encountered.
Please contact us at help@babylon.com and we’ll get it sorted out

I take you don’t know anything about UNIX? miserysoft has yet to produce a stable OS, and one that has a decent way to manage its core. Yet, they have a very effective arm-twisting marketing team, and you’re excellent proof of how effective it is. The registry is a pit of messed up and tangled file-fragment pointers that has no internal algorithm to manage its garbage disposal, unlike UNIX. CCleaner is about the most milque-toast registry manager on the market.

– in which case you don’t need any extra software.
However it can takes weeks depending on how old your version of the OS is until it is stable and up to date again.

– BIOS and in doing so it alters the original settings needed for your operation system to work properly causing your system to slow down, loss of data, file corruption due to over deleting registry keys and eventually the recognizing of your hard-drive.
If you contact the CCleaner customer support this is what they will tell you do – a clean install of your operation system – well, that is what any OS developer says in the manual if you feel that your system has been compromised-

So basically what you’re saying is it’s the fault of crappy operation system that was developed by a multi billion dollar company with unlimited funds to spend on development against a CCleaner software that is developed by students learning the ropes of programing who need to display pop ads in order to raise funds for product development…
Well, what causes your idea of crappy OS is this in order for CCleaner to work it needs to alter your-

I’ve proved CCleaner on both XP and 7 for about four years, with no adverse affect, so far as I know. In fact, if anything, CCleaner is too mild. It is other issues that affect CCleaner’s actions which cause registry problems.

B4 CC, I used SystemMechanic for 5 years, and was always aware that it could mess the registry, but, it was reasonable with the miserysoft’s garbage registry and made bad changes only when the registry was itself blasted by malware. The issue is really the crappy OS.

Hi,
I would be careful with CCleaner.
If you go to my You Tube channel, and check out the the videos for the how to remove babylon video list.
So far, CCleaner has wiped out 5 computers and it does not fix anything, it simply masks it up.
Read their terms and conditions before downloading.

Yeah, that’s about the only logical time for a reformat! Glad you’re on the way with destroying that beast!

Actually I managed to remove it by manually scanning the registry and removing every instance of “Babylon” from it(after using MalwareBytes and 4 other programs with no effect). Still no fix for Chrome, and Babylon initially prevented me from removing Chrome. But after a reboot I removed Chrome, then re-installed.
As for reformatting it was definitely an option – the Babylon infection happened on a BRAND NEW installation of Windows 7. So reformatting at this stage would have been a LOT faster.

Whoa there! THe class-action suit is fine, but reformat? No way! Sometimes I find it best for nausea-ware to leave it installed and find a way to disable it. Eventually there’s some way to wipe the system clean. For Babylon, there’s many ways to find help to locate all its evil tentacles, and target each one with a well-placed mortar shot, such as Slim and Eraser. It may take a few restarts, and I also use CCleaner for several registry passes, but, it will be history.

Count me in – this Babylon crap has completely killed my computer, next step is to format and start again!

and if u are not running in compatibility mode.then try running it on win 95, win 98, win xp and win 2000..try one by one..it may or may not work…

this directx5 issue is a little common, but no definite answer to it.

1) Make sure you are not running in compatibility mode.
2) Ensure that u have downloaded the latest directx 9 and 11 from Microsoft Website.

Thats all i can think of for now… 🙁

I did all the steps one by one, and when I start the game it appears an error saying I DON’T FIND DIRECTX5, I installed directx 5 from the Commandos Behind Enemy Lines and the problem continues HELP

its weird because i read most people only have this problem on windows xp..i’m sorry, maybe u can try google around..as the problem is not related to this video tutorial..

no..it doesnt..it will only allow u to launch and save the game..Commandos BEL is weird…it runs really fast too on my old Pentium 4 PC..it will only be on normal speed on Pentium 2 and Pentium 1.

i tryed 95-98-xo ma the problem is still the same..error message: “Sorry not supported on Windows NT”

hmm..thats weird..right click on the game’s icon..the click on properties..then compatibility and select win 98. see if it launches. if not try win 95 or XP as well.

i’m using windows 7 64 bit…but i tried to luch the tutorial and it works!!! really strange….how can i change compatibility!?

thank u so much! 😉

i did everything you did in the video i got the pyro reg i did it and is on my desktop.. i emailed you please resond. i’m in the 2nd mission but i can’t save i only could use the pass word and it keeps crashing mid way or when everything is going fine

i did everything but in the end when i finally launch the gasme i see this error message:
“Sorry not supported on Windows NT”

?!?!? WTF!? thanks

ok so i got it out and the game work the only thing is it doesn’t save and the game crashes…. i’m giving up on this game it has me sick theres always something that prevents me from playing i took the first mission to the end and it crashed and i couldn’t save

did u mount the .iso with the Alochol 120% or daemon tools lite? If u do..then you should be able to extract out the files simply by copying and paste…

the registry is wrong thats why u are getting the black screen..pls ensure DirCd”=”D:\Comandos on ur registry is pointing to ur cd ROM Drive..What is the Drive letter for ur virtual drive??

ok i extracted all the files and this time it worked and it opend but it stays with a black screen. its always something
