mine only does that on a couple videos, but after refreshing about 200 times it will play the four second video you wanted…

No sound in youtube.Can anyone help. I have spend hours trying to learn how to download and save videos and for this downloaded firefox and add ons suggested. What to do then is my problem. HOWEVER my new problem is that my mute symbol has an x on it and will not undo with the usual click. Any ideas????
it does, but my problem now is that how come i can hear this vid’s sound but still can’t hear the other vid’s sounds, because of which case i searched for a solution and got here!? 🙂

my problem was silverlight…try disabling it
HERE’S THE FIX: I BELIEVE IV FIGURED IT OUT WITH SOME HELP.:GO INTO BROWSERS PLUGIN DATABASE WHICH IS A LIST OF PLUGINS THAT YOUR BROWSER USES I.E. MACROMEDIA FLASH, SILVERLIGHT ETC…DISABLE ONE AND PLAY A VIDEO…IF YOUVE DISABLED ONE AND YOU HAVE SOUND…YOUVE FOUND YOUR PROBLEM.

for those of you that don’t have Audio listed in your LowRegistry file watch “Solution to no sound problem on Firefox” video. It talks about going to your add-ons manage an start disabling an re-enable the add-ons an my sound came back
hay i got a problem that just happened just yesterday i went to that update firefox plugins site so i updated and now music everywhere is echoing its like having two videos play at the same time

i have very bad sound quality when i listen music in youtube what i have to do?
always back up the registry before you change anything in it.
This doesn’t work for me, and videos I post on Vimeo work great, but the same videos uploaded to Youtube have no sound…
That is a real good question, I do not know the awnser yet.
Why does this happen in the first place?
Woah, I use headphones and speakers, and when I swapped from them by disabling and enabling in the sound mixer it came back!
internet explorer is pretty stupid for some ppl but it never gave me a problem to deal with
reloading will always fix this problem .i tried your way by deleting the file shown in the last step but if u searched Firefox name again it will give u another damn file to delete and thise thing keeps on going but it didn’t work for me .
IE has activex, which sometimes is needed for work, so sometimes soneone like me must use it to get things done, yay
Chrome and firefox are broski’s ^_^. Never go to internet explorer.
