dude, if the DVD/CD-ROM drives is not present on Device Manager, I’m afraid this fix will not help you. It seems your DVD drive is not recognized by the computer itself and not just by the operating system. Try to reseat the DVD drive physically. That’s taking out the DVD drive and reinstalling it back and make sure it is seated properly. Consult your computer manually on how to do that or contact your computer manufacturer. If issue persist the DVD drive is defective.

hey i m having this problem in windows 7 ultimate 32bit and when i go at device menager i dont have the CD/DVD Rom on it and my cd/dvd rom aint workin anymore nither the light is turned on and when i press the eject button it dosnt comeout so pleas any1 helpppppp im desperetly trying to fix thiss … 1 more thingthat thing about lowef filters and upper filters arent in my comp. when i searched regedit @ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BF­C1-08002BE10318} so what should i doo ?! @ albogansta.01@live.com

my computer does not recognize a empty dvd but a long time a go it did just fine same burner same dvd’s do youknow how to solve this?
