3 Tips To Choose and Use a Registry Cleaner With Minimal Effort

Are you having problems with your PC? Well, join the club. If you have been using PC long enough, sooner or later you are going to encounter problems like the rest of us. One of the most common PC problems has something to do with the registry.

The registry is an integral part of your operating system. This is where your computer keeps the records of what programs are installed, how to open certain files, and other details. To put it simply, your registry is your computer’s personal secretary. Without your secretary, you will be confused as where the key to that locker is or how to find a certain customer’s address.

When your PC is having registry problems, the formerly simple routines become complex tasks. Your computer can’t locate a password, doesn’t remember how to open your favorite games, or will simply slow down for no obvious reasons. What would you do now? Before taking your computer to a computer technician who will charge you at least $75 to clear up the mess, most of us will likely try a registry cleaner first. The problem is there are dozens of them on the net. Which one would you choose?

Here are some tips for choosing and using a registry cleaner:

1) Pick the one that will let you try it for free. You may not be getting complete functions, but at least they will pinpoint your problems and let you decide whether you want to get the full version. Never pay a dime unless you get a free trial.

2) If they ask you to remove some files before you can install their software, don’t do it. This is to make sure that you won’t unknowingly remove some necessary files from your computer. Not all of us are computer savvy. It is likely that you may remove wrong files.

3) It is possible to use wrong tools provided by the software, and this can cause more problems. Most vendors don’t care less how you use their software after the purchase. Make sure that not only will you get the a full refund if the software doesn’t work, they must provide you with full instructions as how to use the software correctly. If the software lets you to use advanced features without questioning your technical skills, it is easy to put your computer out of service for good. Read the instructions, and don’t use advanced features if you are not sure of the outcome.

Not all registry cleaners are created equal. This is the one that I use to fix PC errors regularly. They will scan your computer thoroughly for free. They won’t take your money unless you are happy with their service. Well, don’t take my word for it. Get a free scan!
